Status on Netto

Netto (netto-online.de) was checked in a real desktop Chrome on 16 October 2026. A 12 pack of 500 g coffee showed €15.08 / kg (6 kg), matching the shop's own Grundpreis. Switch it on from the popup with "Enable on this shop".

Open the shop, click the ShrinkWatch icon and choose "Enable on this shop". The browser then asks for access to that shop only.

Unit prices and the law

In the EU, Directive 98/6/EC on consumer protection in the indication of the prices of products requires traders to show the unit price (for example per kilogram or per litre) next to the selling price. Online shops selling to consumers are covered too. The unit price is there so you can compare packs of different sizes, but it is easy to miss and it says nothing about how the pack changed over time. More on the rules.
